Bespoke wedding & floral services in Cornwall

At The Flowers of May, I offer thoughtful, seasonal floristry for weddings and meaningful moments across Cornwall and beyond. Known for a relaxed, personal approach and natural, garden-inspired designs, my work is always tailored to you, your setting and the time of year.

Based in South East Cornwall, I primarily work throughout Cornwall but am always happy to travel further for the right couple or occasion.

Wedding floristry in Cornwall

I specialise in bespoke wedding flowers for couples who value natural beauty, seasonality and considered design. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a larger celebration, I work closely with you to create flowers that feel true to you and your day.

From the very first conversation, I take time to understand your vision, colour palette and venue, offering guidance where helpful and space where you already know what you love. No two weddings are ever the same, and your flowers shouldn’t be either.

Bridal bouquets & personal flowers

Your bouquet is one of the most personal elements of your wedding day. I design bridal bouquets that feel relaxed, natural and in keeping with the season, using carefully chosen flowers and foliage.

Alongside bridal bouquets, I also create:

  • Bridesmaid bouquets
  • Buttonholes and corsages
  • Hair flowers

Each piece is designed to complement the overall floral scheme without feeling overly styled or uniform.

Ceremony & reception flowers

From subtle ceremony arrangements to more impactful floral installations, I offer a range of options to suit your venue and style.

This includes:

  • Floral arches and installations
  • Ceremony table arrangements
  • Aisle flowers
  • Milk churn statement arrangements
  • Reception top table arrangement
  • Reception table centrepieces
  • 8ft hanging floral ring
  • Cake flowers

I’m always mindful of how flowers move through the day, designing arrangements that can often be repurposed from ceremony to reception where appropriate.

Bouquet preservation

Your wedding flowers don’t have to fade away. I offer a careful bouquet preservation service, drying your wedding flowers and recreating them into a beautifully arranged dried bouquet you can treasure for years to come.

Every preserved bouquet is completely bespoke, lovingly reassembled to reflect your original design. I include the special details from your wedding, such as your original ribbons and pins, so your keepsake feels just as personal and meaningful as the day itself.

A dried bouquet is a lasting reminder of your wedding, allowing you to hold onto the beauty, memories, and special touches of your flowers long after your celebration.

Farewell & sympathy flowers

In addition to weddings, I create bespoke farewell flowers and casket sprays, designed with care, sensitivity and respect.

Using seasonal blooms, these arrangements can be tailored to reflect a loved one’s personality, favourite colours or flowers. Each piece is made to feel personal rather than generic, offering a gentle way to mark and honour a life.

A seasonal & sustainable approach

Seasonality is at the heart of my work. Wherever possible, I use flowers that are in season, sourcing responsibly and working with nature rather than against it. This not only results in more beautiful, characterful arrangements but also supports a more sustainable way of working.

Wedding florist covering Cornwall & beyond

While I’m based in South East Cornwall, I regularly work across Cornwall and parts of Devon and am always open to travelling further afield for weddings and events. If you love my style but your venue is slightly outside the area, please do get in touch.
