About The Flowers of May — Your Cornwall wedding florist

Crafting bespoke floral design for weddings & special moments

Hello! I’m Megan Haigh, the florist and creative heart behind The Flowers of May. Based in Saltash, Cornwall, I specialise in bespoke floral design for weddings, special events, and meaningful keepsakes. I work closely with couples and clients across South East Cornwall, parts of Devon and beyond. Bringing seasonal beauty and natural elegance to every celebration.

My story & how it all began

From a young age, flowers and gardens inspired me. Growing up watching my Nan tend her blooms sparked a deep love for plants, colour and texture — a passion that ultimately led me to become a florist. I began learning floristry hands‑on, first helping with friends’ wedding flowers, then training with a local florist before launching The Flowers of May in 2021. Every step of the journey has deepened my love for creating floral art that reflects people’s personalities and love stories.

My style & approach

At The Flowers of May, I believe flowers should enhance your day naturally and beautifully. My design philosophy centres on:

Natural, effortless beauty — soft textures, seasonal blooms and garden‑inspired palettes.

Bespoke designs tailored to you — every bouquet, centrepiece and floral installation is uniquely created for your vision.

Seasonal sourcing & local growers — whenever possible, I use locally grown blooms to ensure freshness and sustainability.
